THE CHURCH IS NOT A BUILDING

The church is anyone on earth who profess Jesus as Lord. This takes shape often in a gathering of people who are joined together in unity and love to share, to learn, to grow with others in devoted love and obedience to God. All are invited to connect with the community of people who call this place home. There are many ways to connect – Youth groups, Life groups, Bible studies, service projects, Sunday morning music, teaching and gathering, special community events – the list goes on.

Common Questions About Sunday Gathering

What is a typical Service like?

We gather Sundays at 10am to engage in God’s word and respond. Our response is shown in community engagement with others as we sing, listen, pray, and hear sermons from the Bible which is the word of God.

How are my children engaged?

We believe that our children grow alongside us in life and in faith. Children are part of our Sunday Praise Gatherings and also have the opportunity to learn in their own way. Children, Kindergarten to Grade 6, will be dismissed to our children’s program following our worship time on Sunday mornings.

In addition, the Nursery room for newborn to Pre-Kindergarten is open to parents during our Sunday gathering. In the event that care is not available on a Sunday morning, you are welcome to supervise your child while you listen to the service audio in our Nursery.

Who can be a part?

All people are welcome to be a part of the community of Jesus. We are one of many gatherings in West Kelowna.

What time is your service?

Our weekly gatherings are 10 am every Sunday morning until about 11:15.

We are located at 2630 Alhambra Drive, West Kelowna BC

What do you believe

We belong to the North American Baptist Conference of Churches who believe that God desires relationship with all humans and has made that desire known fully in the person, work, and mission of Jesus.
