Love Anchored
Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God and love people (Matthew 22:37-40).
Spirit Empowered
God gives the Holy Spirit to those who commit to Jesus (Ephesians 1:13-14), and it is only in the power of the Holy Spirit that we can love and live rightly (Galatians 5:22-25).
Everyday Discipleship
A disciple is someone who is abiding with (follows and finds identity in) Jesus, becoming like Him and doing what he taught his followers to do (Matthew 28:18-20, 2 Corinthians 3:18). This takes daily and consistent practice and commitment (Luke 9:23-24).
Joyful Generosity
God is full of joy and gives generously as demonstrated through Jesus (John 3:16). Through joyful generosity we show God's kindness and love and humbly care for the needs of others (Nehemiah 8:10, 2 Corinthians 9:7, Psalm 37:21, Hebrews 13:16).
Sincere Curiosity
Curious people ask interesting questions and listen well (Proverbs18:12-13,15). They are humble and open to growing and changing toward Christlikeness (Proverbs 22:4, James 4:10).
Sharing Life Together
God's plan is for His church to live, work and grow together (Romans 12:10-18).
